The Caliente Family Part 1
Wednesday
The next morning Nina once again looks through the newspaper and then the computer listings, but none of them list an athletic job. She decides she’ll keep on waiting for the right one to show up.

Since she has some more time off, she thinks it’s time to invite over a new partner for a change. She calls up Heath Jalowitz. She met him the other night downtown. As soon as Heath gets there, he greets her and farts. Nina doesn’t seem to mind (Note, my computer cuts off the top little bit of screen based on the resolution I have it set as, so the missing upper floor was not visible when I took the screenshot. Sorry!)

They get chatting for a while and hit it off. Sooner rather than later they’re kissing in the front yard and getting ready to push things further.

They end up in Nina’s room. They make out for a while before they woohoo. Nina is so happy to have a second lover, and Heath seems to really like her.

That night Dina comes home. She’s very upset. Bella Goth was found (and after they worked so hard to get the aliens to abduct her and take her somewhere else! She was supposed to have amnesia and not know who she was!) and her relationship with Mortimer was basically over. He loved her, but she knew he was only going to pick Bella. She wasn’t going to be his mistress, she wanted it all. She knew as a mistress she wouldn’t get anything when he passed. This could still work out though, she could make some money on the divorce.

Mortimer comes over and tries to talk and apologize to her. He explains that he never meant to hurt her.

Dina is disgusted with him and says she wants a divorce. She also says she’s asking for alimony. They break up and eventually settle on him giving Dina 20,000 simoleans. For him that might be pocket change, and Dina is upset it isn’t more, but it’s agreed that since they weren’t married long he shouldn’t have to give it all up. Plus, with Bella back in the picture and being his wife first, she was the owner of half of everything already anyway, since they never technically got a divorce.

After her heartbreak, she was done talking with Mortimer and excused herself. She was in for a surprise though. A baby! It could technically be Don or Mortimer’s child, but she was pretty sure it was Mortimer’s. The time matched up better because after they got married is when she decided she wanted a baby. Before that, with Don, she didn’t have that desire. She wasn’t sure what she was going to do, but she didn’t want Mortimer to have the baby. He was the one who left her, not the other way around! She was going to have the baby and raise it herself. If she could, she would try to get child support, but she didn’t want him to have anything to do with the child after that.

Later that night when everyone went to bed (and he for whatever reason never left), Mortimer was up in Nina’s room watching her sleep with hearts around her. What a creeper. Dina might have lucked out in the end.
