The Goth Family Part 1
Thursday

Mortimer continues to work on his creativity skill as the week progresses. He’s gotten pretty far and hopes to max out his skill soon.

Bella goes to work in the Slacker career. When she comes home, she finds out she’s been promoted! She’s happy with this outcome, but it means she’ll be working the overnight shift. She isn’t looking forward to that, but she already has the skills necessary for another promotion so she isn’t going to worry too much about it.

Due to her disappearance, legally she and Mortimer were no longer married. Because of this, they decided they would propose to one another again. They are so in love and happy they can be together again.

Since they already had a ceremony the first time they got married, they decided to keep it small and just exchange rings with the two of them present. They were so happy to have it on paper again. It was like Bella never left!

Alexander comes home from school with A+ grades which has him happy, but he is lacking so much fun that he can’t even be excited about it. Instead of starting his homework right away like he had been the past few days, he is going to go have some fun for a while.

A few hours later (and right before he was about to blow out the candles), Alexander aged up into a teenager! He grew up well. He has a knowledge aspiration and his turn ons are aliens and black hair. His turn off is brown hair (left that up to random for the game. I don’t feel the need to pick turn on and offs, it’s neat to see how the game unfolds with them random).

Alexander takes some time to work on his piano skills. Mortimer is a little upset because he wanted to play, but he sees himself in his son and that makes him happy that he’s playing. He decides he’ll just listen for now and he can play and work on his skill later.

Way upstairs, Bella works on her creativity as well by painting a picture. She doesn’t get very far, but she still feels accomplished.

Bella and Mortimer share the night together, finally at peace after everything that’s happened.

Bella decides to read a book to Alexander. She knows he can read on his own if he wants, but she missed out on some of his childhood and really wanted to do this with him. He enjoys himself and she is happy to spend time with her youngest child.
